Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Gold plated sterling silver 925
Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.
More about Ball Ring
The Ball Ring from ENAMEL Copenhagen is a modern interpretation of the classic finger ring. With its stringent design, where small polished balls form a harmonious whole, it combines simplicity with a contemporary twist. The soft shapes of the balls give the ring an organic look that makes it both elegant and cool at the same time.
The ring is made of 18 karat gold-plated 925 sterling silver, giving it a warm, glowing tone and a finish that appears sophisticated without losing its casual edge. The Ball Ring is adjustable, making it flexible and comfortable to wear, regardless of finger size. The easy customization also means you can switch between wearing it alone or stacking it with other rings for a more personalized look.
The Ball Ring is designed to match ENAMEL's popular Ball Hoops, giving you the opportunity to create a complete style where the jewelry compliments each other. However, it works equally well on its own as a discreet statement piece that adds a touch of edge to your outfit.
As part of ENAMEL Copenhagen's AW25 collection Urban Elegance, the ring reflects the city's play with shapes and contrasts. The collection is created for the modern woman who wants to combine classic jewelry with an informal, cool look. The Ball Ring is a perfect example of how a simple design can gain strength through detail.
