Barok Necklace (SAMIE)

SAMIE is a new Danish jewelry brand created by Kamille Carolina Østergaard, known for Sistie and Izabel Camille, and builds on her strong design experience and sense of quality. SAMIE offers unisex jewelry for both men and women - from pearl necklaces and cross pendants to bracelets in beautiful color combinations. The brand combines durability, accessibility and fashion-forward design to add personality and edge to any style. The collections include earrings, bracelets and necklaces where each piece is developed with care, aesthetics and a strong focus on craftsmanship and durability.

"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.

Gold-plated stainless steel is stainless steel with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Stainless steel is popular in jewelry because it is strong, dimensionally stable and suitable for everyday use. The golden tone can vary depending on the coating and with gentle care, the finish retains its good looks for longer.

Freshwater pearls are genuine, naturally formed pearls created inside freshwater mussels and known for their soft, elegant lustre. They typically appear in white and cream tones, but can also show pink, peach, or subtle lavender undertones. Unlike mother-of-pearl, which is material from the shell, freshwater pearls are the pearl itself—often round or slightly oval with natural variations. This makes each pearl unique and creates a more organic, luxurious look. Freshwater pearls require gentle care, especially regarding perfume, hairspray, and prolonged contact with water.
