Evelyn Necklace (Hultquist Copenhagen)

Hultquist Copenhagen was founded in 1980 by Anne Hultquist with the vision of creating feminine jewelry with a bohemian, Scandinavian feel. In 2018, the next generation, Ida and Martin Hultquist, joined the family business and launched a new sterling silver collection that has renewed the brand into a young and colorful universe. The collections include earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings, and Hultquist stands out with romantic, handmade details and a modern, playful twist.

"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.

Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.

Jade is a classic stone known for its calm, natural look—most often in green tones, but it can also be found in white, grey and rarer colour shades. In jewellery, jade creates an elegant, timeless feel that can look both minimalist and exclusive at the same time. Jade is typically opaque to slightly translucent and is often polished very smooth, giving it a soft, almost “silky” sheen. With normal care, jade jewellery can stay beautiful for a long time.
