Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Nylon
Nylon is a lightweight and durable material that is often used in accessories because it holds its shape well and can withstand a lot in everyday life. It's especially popular in hair accessories and practical details where you want a material that is strong, flexible and easy to maintain. Nylon typically feels smooth and can give a more "clean" and durable look.
Stainless steel
Stainless steel is a strong and dimensionally stable material that is often used in jewelry and accessories because it withstands daily use well. It is known to be resistant to rust and general discoloration, so it retains its appearance over time. Stainless steel is also easy to maintain and suits both a simple and more modern look.

About From Soldier to Soldier
From Soldier to Soldier is Aagaard's bracelet collection rooted in a soldier tradition where parachute lines (paracord) braided into bracelets as a symbol of community and strong bonds.
The story is specifically based on 2008 where the soldier Stefan Hylleborg while deployed in Afghanistan was inspired by an American paratrooper and started making bracelets that were quickly used for fundraising and support - later put into production via Aagaard.
