Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Silver Sterling 925
Sterling silver 925 is one of the most used materials for jewelry. "925" means that the jewelry consists of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, which makes it more robust for everyday wear. It gives a classic silver look that's easy to style, and with simple care, the jewelry can stay beautiful for a long time.
Gold plated sterling silver 925
Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.
More about Sparkling Pearls Drop Earrings
The Sparkling Pearls Drop Earrings unite two classic materials in a design that beautifully balances shine and softness. A row of clear cubic zirconia stones catch the light and create a sparkling line that ends in a pendant with a round freshwater pearl - a soft and organic counterpoint to the sharpness of the stones. The combination gives the design a refined and exclusive touch that elevates both simple everyday style and more dressy occasions. The golden finish ties the elements together and emphasizes the warm and feminine look.
The earrings are made in gold-plated sterling silver 925 with details in cubic zirconia and freshwater pearls, where the gold-plated finish gives a warm tone while sterling silver 925 forms the solid base. The combination of stone and pearl elevates the material choice and adds an exclusive and timeless touch.
