Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Silver Sterling 925
Sterling silver 925 is one of the most used materials for jewelry. "925" means that the jewelry consists of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, which makes it more robust for everyday wear. It gives a classic silver look that's easy to style, and with simple care, the jewelry can stay beautiful for a long time.
Gold plated sterling silver 925
Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.
More about Pearl Arc Stud Earrings
The Pearl Arc Stud Earrings have a delicate and feminine look, where a curved shape with pearl details gives the studs a soft and organic character that is decorative without losing the simple and timeless design language. The natural glow and round shape of the pearls add a warm and classic finesse to the design, making the jewelry a versatile and elegant choice for everyday wear as well as for more dressy occasions. The family is available in both gold and silver finishes, so it's easy to find the variant that best suits your style and your jewelry collection.
The studs are made in gold-plated sterling silver 925 and sterling silver 925, where the gold-plated finish gives a warm and inviting tone, while the silver version offers a cooler and more classic look. The pearl details elevate the material choice and add a natural finesse that gives the design extra depth and character.
