Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Silver Sterling 925
Sterling silver 925 is one of the most used materials for jewelry. "925" means that the jewelry consists of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, which makes it more robust for everyday wear. It gives a classic silver look that's easy to style, and with simple care, the jewelry can stay beautiful for a long time.
Gold plated sterling silver 925
Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.
More about Knot Half Hoop Earrings
The Knot Half Hoop Earrings combine the classic hoop design with a decorative knot detail that serves as an elegant and symbolic centerpiece of the piece. The knot breaks the smooth line in a subtle and refined way, adding a dimension of craftsmanship and meaning to the design without disturbing the clean look. The golden finish emphasizes the feminine design and adds a warm glow that makes the earrings a natural choice for both everyday simple looks and more dressy occasions.
The earrings are made in gold-plated sterling silver 925, where the gold-plated finish gives a warm and inviting tone, while the sterling silver 925 forms the solid and durable base. The simple choice of material leaves the knot detail as the main element of the design.
