Why is my discount code not working? - Troubleshooting and rules
1) Code is expired or not active right now
Discount codes and promotions often run in delimited periods. This means that you can't use a code just because you've seen it before - it must be active during the current campaign period.
2) There are sale items or already discounted items in the cart
As a general rule, promo codes cannot be used on items that are already discounted. The sale price is already a discount and therefore an additional discount cannot usually be added.
3) The code cannot be combined with other offers
If your cart already triggers a promotion (e.g. "buy 3 pay 2"), an additional discount code typically cannot be used at the same time unless clearly stated in the terms and conditions.
4) The code only applies to selected items or categories
Some codes only apply to specific brands, collections or product types. If your items are not covered, the code will not be accepted.
5) The code is entered incorrectly
Check for: spaces before/after the code, misspelling, confusion of 0 and O, or extra characters. Try copying/pasting the code again.
6) The code can only be used once or is personalized
Some codes are personal (e.g. newsletter codes) and may be limited to one use per customer or per campaign.
