Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Gold plated sterling silver 925
Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.
More about Pendant Necklace
The Pendant Necklace has an elegant and stylish look where a simple and well-rounded pendant gives the necklace a classic and feminine character that appeals to those who appreciate jewelry with a calm and timeless design language. The simple design lets the material and shape speak for themselves and gives the jewelry a discreet presence that works beautifully for everyday casual looks as well as more dressy occasions. With a length of approximately 45 cm, it falls beautifully and can be worn alone as a stylish centerpiece or combined with other chains for a more personal and layered look.
The necklace is made of gold-plated sterling silver 925, where the gold-plated finish gives a warm and inviting tone, while the sterling silver 925 forms the solid and durable base. The simple choice of material emphasizes the clean and classic design and gives the necklace a timeless and versatile quality.
