Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Silver Sterling 925
Sterling silver 925 is one of the most used materials for jewelry. "925" means that the jewelry consists of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, which makes it more robust for everyday wear. It gives a classic silver look that's easy to style, and with simple care, the jewelry can stay beautiful for a long time.
More about Flat Chain Necklace
The Flat Chain Necklace has a clean and minimalist look where flat, close-fitting chain links create a smooth and cohesive line that falls beautifully and comfortably against the skin, giving the necklace an understated elegance and an almost textile softness. The flat construction gives the chain a low profile and a subtle shimmer in the light that is more subdued than the polished and angular variants, giving the piece a more earthy and modern character. The silver finish emphasizes the clean and classic look and provides a cool, timeless tone that works beautifully on its own as a stylish everyday piece or as an elegant base for a pendant for more dressy occasions.
The necklace is made of 925 sterling silver, where the classic silver base works well on its own or as part of a larger jewelry universe. The simple choice of material allows the flat and fluid design of the chain to define the character of the jewelry.

The classic, Scandinavian-inspired look is consistent throughout - clean, feminine and never overdone.
By Aagaard works with gold-plated sterling silver 925 and sterling silver 925 and selected details in freshwater pearls and cubic zirconia - materials that give each piece of jewelry a warm glow and a durability that extends far beyond the season.
