Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Silver Sterling 925
Sterling silver 925 is one of the most used materials for jewelry. "925" means that the jewelry consists of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, which makes it more robust for everyday wear. It gives a classic silver look that's easy to style, and with simple care, the jewelry can stay beautiful for a long time.
Gold plated sterling silver 925
Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.
More about Feather Bracelet
The Feather Bracelet is created with a light and elegant expression, where clean lines and a timeless design language frame the design. The bracelet is made in both gold-plated sterling silver 925 and sterling silver 925 and has a delicate feather-inspired motif that gives the jewelry a soft and organic character.
The shape of the feather is worked into a simple and balanced design where the details are discreet but still clear in their expression. This creates a bracelet with a light visual movement that gives a calm and feminine elegance without seeming heavy.
The design is easy to style both on its own and with other jewelry for a more personal and layered look. The combination of silver and gold-plated finish gives flexibility of expression and makes it easy to adapt to both cool and warm tones.
