Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Gold plated sterling silver 925
Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.
Zirconia - colors, difference from diamond and care
Zirconia (often called cubic zirconia/CZ) is a popular synthetic stone that resembles a diamond thanks to its clear shine and strong light reflection. The most common colour is clear/white, but zirconia is also available in many colours such as blue, green, pink, and champagne. It is widely used in jewellery because it delivers an exclusive look at a more accessible price point. Zirconia has a consistent appearance and can be cut into many shapes, making it suitable for both minimalist and more eye-catching designs. With proper care, zirconia can stay beautiful for a long time.
More about Cubic Zirconia Heart Pendant Necklace
The Cubic Zirconia Heart Pendant is designed with an elegant and light expression where clean lines meet fine decorative details. The necklace is made of 925 gold-plated sterling silver and has a length of approximately 45 cm. The classic heart motif forms the center of the design and gives the necklace a soft and timeless character that makes it suitable for both everyday and more dressy occasions.
The set cubic zirconia adds a subtle shine and lifts the look with a refined play of light without the design feeling heavy. The combination of the simple design and the sparkling details makes the necklace versatile, so it can be worn alone for a clean look or layered with other chains.
