Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Gold plated sterling silver 925
Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.
More about Coin Pendant Necklace
The Coin Pendant Necklace has a modern and relaxed look where a flat, round coin pendant gives the necklace an informal and stylish character with a calm and earthy presence. The coin shape is one of the jewelry world's most enduring and versatile silhouettes, adding a timeless and universally appealing quality to the design that works beautifully as a single piece of everyday jewelry or as part of a more personal and layered look. The golden finish emphasizes the warm and classic look and gives the pendant a warm glow that elevates even the most casual wardrobe.
The necklace is made of gold-plated sterling silver 925, where the gold-plated finish gives a warm and inviting tone, while the sterling silver 925 forms the solid and durable base. The simple choice of material lets the coin shape stand as the supporting and defining element of the design.
