Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Gold plated sterling silver 925
Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.
More about Blank Plate & Heart Pendant Necklace
The Blank Plate and Heart Necklace is designed with a simple and elegant look where clean lines and small details create a fine balance. The necklace is made of 925 gold-plated sterling silver and has a length of approximately 40 cm. The design combines a small heart motif with a shiny circle, giving it a personal and decorative look while keeping it light and versatile for both everyday and more dressy occasions.
The shiny plate adds a clean and minimalist element, while the heart softens the look and adds a subtle symbolism. Together they create a versatile design that can be worn alone for a calm look or layered with other chains.
The gold-plated finish gives the necklace a warm glow, while the 925 sterling silver base ensures a solid and durable quality.
