Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Gold plated sterling silver 925
Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.
More about Satin Hoop Drop Earrings
The Satin Hoop Drop Earrings have a distinctive and organic look with a soft, rounded shape and a slightly uneven surface that gives the design character and depth. The simple hoops-inspired idiom creates a timeless look, while the satin-like finish adds a modern and sophisticated touch. The result is a piece of jewelry that balances the raw and the elegant in a discreet way.
The earrings are made from 925 gold-plated sterling silver. The golden surface gives a warm and feminine glow, while the solid silver base ensures durability and a classic look. The Satin Hoop Drop Earrings work well as a standalone statement piece, but can also be combined with other jewelry for a more personal and layered look.
