Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Gold plated sterling silver 925
Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.
More about Pearl Chain Drop Earrings
The Pearl Chain Drop Earrings have a modern and light expression where elongated chain links and a decorative freshwater pearl pendant create a beautiful contrast between the geometric and the organic. The round pearl acts as a soft and feminine counterpoint to the simple links and gives the design a refined finesse that elevates both everyday looks and more dressy occasions. The golden finish warms up the overall impression and emphasizes the classic look that characterizes the family.
The earrings are made in gold-plated sterling silver 925 with freshwater pearl details, where the gold-plated finish gives a warm tone while sterling silver 925 forms the solid base. The freshwater pearl elevates the material choice and adds an exclusive and timeless touch.
