Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Gold plated sterling silver 925
Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.
Zirconia - colors, difference from diamond and care
Zirconia (often called cubic zirconia/CZ) is a popular synthetic stone that resembles a diamond thanks to its clear shine and strong light reflection. The most common colour is clear/white, but zirconia is also available in many colours such as blue, green, pink, and champagne. It is widely used in jewellery because it delivers an exclusive look at a more accessible price point. Zirconia has a consistent appearance and can be cut into many shapes, making it suitable for both minimalist and more eye-catching designs. With proper care, zirconia can stay beautiful for a long time.
More about Organic Cubic Zirconia Drop Earrings
The Organic Cubic Zirconia Drop Earrings have an elegant and artistic expression where classic shapes meet a more organic and vibrant design. The earrings are built around a simple hoop as a base, to which a pendant-inspired motif adds movement and a light, dynamic drop. The uneven, organic shapes create a modern and characterful look, while the inlaid cubic zirconia stones add a subtle shine and a refined play of light.
The design combines the decorative with the practical, making the earrings both an eye-catching statement and an elegant complement to a more understated look. They are crafted in 925 gold-plated sterling silver with cubic zirconia details for a warm finish and a durable base in precious materials. The overall look is balanced between the feminine and the sculptural, making them suitable for both everyday and more formal occasions.
