Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Gold plated sterling silver 925
Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.
More about Knot Stud Earrings
The Knot Stud Earrings are created with a simple and balanced expression where classic shapes meet a timeless and understated design. The stud earrings are made of 925 gold-plated sterling silver and have a compact knot shape that gives the jewelry a calm structure and a discreet but characterful expression.
The design is based on the braided knot, where the soft lines create a harmonious shape that lies close and elegant against the ear. The result is a piece of jewelry that is decorative without being dominant and can easily be worn in both everyday and more complex looks.
The warm gold-plated surface highlights the details of the shape and gives a soft golden glow that makes the studs easy to combine with other jewelry. The look is simple enough to work on its own, yet has enough character to be part of a more personal layered look.
