Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Gold plated sterling silver 925
Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.
More about Heart Earrings
Heart Earrings are hoops with a romantic and feminine expression, where an elegant heart motif gives the classic hoop shape a decorative and personal dimension that is warm and inviting without losing the stylish design language. The heart motif adds an emotional character to the jewelry, making it ideal both as a gift with meaning and as an everyday piece of jewelry that sits beautifully and discreetly. The golden finish emphasizes the warm and classic look and makes them a natural choice that works beautifully with both everyday simple looks and more dressy occasions.
The hoops are made in gold-plated sterling silver 925, where the gold-plated finish gives a warm and inviting tone, while the sterling silver 925 forms the solid and durable base. The simple choice of material lets the heart motif stand as the supporting and expressive element of the design.
