Water-resistant jewelry
"Water-resistant jewelry" is jewelry that can withstand water in everyday life - such as hand washing and light rain - without changing expression quickly. It's all about the material and surface. Stainless steel and solid gold typically withstands water better than plated jewelry such as gold plated. In some cases, the following are also used PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition), where a very thin, hard coating "bonds" to the surface and can provide better wear resistance than traditional coating - but it's still a surface that can eventually wear out depending on use. Jewelry with stones, beads or glue should generally be kept dry.
Gold plated sterling silver 925
Gold plated sterling silver 925 is real sterling silver (92.5% silver) with a thin layer of gold on the surface, which gives a warm gold colored look. Gold plating is typically done with gold in approximately 18-22 carats, and the color can therefore vary in tone. As the coating is a surface, the finish is best maintained with gentle use and proper care.
More about Darling Stud Earrings
The Darling Stud Earrings are created with a simple and feminine expression, where clean lines and a timeless design language frame the design. The stud earrings are made of 925 gold-plated sterling silver and have a soft and harmonious shape that gives a discreet yet elegant look at the ear.
The design is kept in a calm and versatile style that makes the earrings suitable for both everyday wear and more dressy occasions. The simple shape is decorative without being overbearing and gives a light and balanced look.
The gold-plated surface adds a warm tone that accentuates the soft lines of the shape and makes it easy to combine with other gold-tone jewelry. The simple design makes them easy to style on their own, but also suitable as part of a more personal and layered look.
